Paving project begins on Highway 94

The Colorado Department of Transportation has begun resurfacing a 17-mile stretch of State Highway 94 between Ellicott and Highway 24 east of Colorado Springs. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office reports full containment on a fire that started around 2 this afternoon. The fire burned prairie land near Highway 94 and Curtis Road. The cause is reported to be accidental. A crew working on a culvert apparently started the fire. In all... more » -

Justice sought in brutal attack of 94 year old man
