Wendy's employees share video of mouse crawling on food

TULSA, Okla. -

Employees at an Oklahoma Wendy's restaurant are concerned about the health standards of their workplace.

After finding a live mouse rummaging through hamburger buns, one employee decided to share a video of the intruder.

In the video, you can see the mouse inside a package of buns, as well feces on packaging. The employee decided to share the video after management failed to take action.

"The managers they're just like "yeah we'll get to it, yeah it's not really that big of an issue," said employee, Skylar Frame. "My boyfriend's mom she called up later and said 'is there mice in your store?' The manager at the time, Lillian, she denied that."

In a statement, representatives from Wendy's said they have been made aware of the situation, take these matters very seriously, and have launched an investigation. The fast food company said the local health department visited the location the same week after the video came out and found no violations.
