Orphaned bears released after year of rehabilitation

Here we have 'beary' successful rehabilitation story.

In the clip above, you can see two bear cubs who were orphaned during the summer of 2017.

Colorado Parks & Wildlife rescued the bears and sent them to Wet Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation in Wetmore.

The bears were raised by Tom and Cece Sanders at the rehabilitation center for a year and were just released back into the wild this week.

CPW said they try to release animals in the general vicinity of where they were found. These bears were born near Salida.

In the video below, you can see the two cubs being released back into the wild. They are significantly larger, and according to CPW, were released with a natural fear of humans.
