EXTENDED FORECAST: Temperatures stay above average and we'll have a least some precipitation potential for the rest of the week. Showers and storms look to be a touch more abundant Wednesday afternoon and evening, starting along I-25 and pushing east towards the plains. Highs will still be in the 80's and 90's. Thursday should be the hottest day of the week with highs in the 90's and a chance for a stray shower/storm. A few degrees cooler and another chance for a few showers/storms on Friday. Temperatures cool a few degrees each day over the weekend. Sunday will be the better chance to see shower/storm activity as moisture from Hurricane Bud hopefully makes its way towards Colorado. We should be able to hold on to the precipitation chances for the start of the work week with highs in the 70's and 80's
