Posted: Updated:

A passenger killed in a rollover crash has been identified, while the driver has been arrested for Vehicular Homicide Wednesday.

Colorado Springs Police officers responded to the crash Tuesday afternoon in the area of I-25 and South Circle Drive. Police said the car was driving southbound at a high rate of speed when it struck a median and lost control.

The car then turned sideways and rolled over a number of times before stopping. Police said it determined the passenger was ejected from the car and pronounced dead on scene.

He was identified Wednesday as 30-year-old Vincent Romero.

The driver was also transported to a local hospital with his injuries. He was later identified as 33-year-old Steven Webb and has since been arrested for Vehicular Homicide.

This is the 20th traffic related fatality in Colorado Springs this year. Anyone with information or is a witness to the investigation is asked to call CSPD at (719) 444-7000.
