Police search for suspects involved in home invasions in Colorado Springs

Posted: Updated:
COLORADO SPRINGS -

Officers from the Sand Creek Division of Colorado Springs Police were dispatched to a reported home invasion with weapons in the 2700 block of Arlington Drive.

The incident happened after 4 a.m. Sunday morning, where officers learned four suspects entered the victim's apartment and pointed weapons at the people inside. The suspects reportedly stole the victim's computer and some other items before fleeing the scene, police said.

Shortly after responding to the call, officers received a similar call for service where four suspects, matching the description of the previous call, were involved in a second home invasion in the 1500 block of Capulin Drive. According to CSPD, the suspect allegedly knocked on the door and when the victim answered, two suspects assaulted him.

A second victim was approached with a weapon by the two other suspects in the home, police said. The suspects did not take anything from that location but fled the scene before officers arrived.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and the immediate danger to the public.
