Cheyenne Mountain in 2nd place after day one of 4A Tennis Tournament

Seeking another state title, Cheyenne Mountain is in prime position. 

The Indian tennis team trails overall leader Niwot by three points, 21 to 18. 

Palmer Ridge vaulted themselves into third place with nine overall team points. 

Valor Christian and Kent Denver round out the top five. 

Lewis-Palmer, Discovery Canyon and Air Academy holding firm in eighth, ninth and tenth place. 

The three day tournament gets into the semifinals for Friday with titles handed out on Saturday at City Park in Pueblo.
