Man arrested after admittedly attempting to burglarize car dealership

COLORADO SPRINGS -

Colorado Springs Police said a suspect admittedly attempted to burglarize a car dealership in the the area of the 100 block of S Nevada Wednesday.

Police said the suspect went into a Kum & Go gas station in the area around 1:20 a.m. and told the security guard he attempted to burglarize the car dealership across the street.

He told the security guard he changed his mind after breaking the front glass door of the dealership.

He was later identified as 26-year old Benjamin Neill, who was arrested for Attempted Second Degree Burglary.
