Mysteries at a conference one mile high

Posted: Updated:

On Friday (continuing through Sunday) mystery hungry folks flocked to Green Mountain Falls to attend the Mile High Mystery conference. The conference doesn't cover one, but many mysterious topics.

"They deal with Bigfoot, they deal with UFO's, they deal with conspiracy theories; which is kind of why I'm here," stated John Greenewald, one of the speakers at the event.

"And these are things that people don't think too much about, people don't hear too much about, but when you dig into it, there's so much there that is fascinating," commented Dennis Pfohl, an organizer.

The conference is in its second year, drawing a crowd of over 200, "It brings people from all over the country and the world," continued Dennis.

Organizers say that one mystery in particular has started to see more and more interest in  recent years.

"There's a lot more interest in Bigfoot today nationally, in fact, I think there's an infatuation with Bigfoot," said Jim Myers, another organizer.

One organizer even said they are meeting fewer and fewer "skeptics" regarding Bigfoot.

"Hard core skeptics, when I meet them, I ask them how much research they've done. So I tell them to go do research because there is a vast amount of evidence that you can find out there today," finished Jim.
