Pueblo SummerFest happening June 2

Pueblo Parks and Recreation announced details about the first-ever SummerFest Celebration, a free event designed to get families active on a Saturday afternoon.

The event aims to get Pueblo residents involved in a variety of recreational and educational activities. There will be food and entertainment happening at the event, which goes from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 2 at Pueblo city park.

The following free programs will be offered throughout the day:

  •  9 a.m.-10 a.m. Tennis Clinic 
  • 10 a.m.–11 a.m. Family Swim
  • 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Free Rides at the Rides at City Park
  •  1 p.m.-2 p.m.Tennis Clinic 
  • 1 p.m.- 8 p.m. Stand up paddle board demonstration
  •  5:15 p.m.-6:45 p.m. Family Swim
  •  6 p.m.-6:45 p.m. Hands on Bike Repair 
  • 8:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Movie in the Park-Despicable Me 3 

There will be vendors, food trucks, music and a beer garden at the event from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will also be new fitness programs happening every hour from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
