Renting an apartment in Colorado Springs is going to cost you more money. New data from the Colorado Division of Housing and the Apartment Association of Southern Colorado, shows rents in the first quarter of this year increased more than 13-dollars compared to the fourth quarter of last year.
The average rent for an apartment is now sitting at around 1130-dollars a month. That's up nearly 70-dollars from the same quarter last year. The report shows that the highest rents in Colorado Springs are primarily on the city's northwest side, while the lowest average rent can be found in southeast Colorado Springs.
