Double homicide victims in El Paso County identified

The identities of two people found dead in their home in El Paso County have been released.

Deputies were dispatched to the 13500 block of Hobby Horse Lane on a welfare check early Saturday morning. Upon arrival, sheriff's deputies found deceased individuals in the home.

The Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit assumed the investigation calling it a double homicide. 

The victims were identified by the coroner's office as 72-year old Larry Nelson and 70-year old Pamela Nelson. 

There is little information being released at this time as the investigation is ongoing. Residents in that are are urged to be vigilant as no suspect information is available.
