Colorado Rockies debut massive new video board at Coors Field

DENVER -

Coors Field is going to look a little different this summer for Rockies fans.

The Rockies debuted a massive new video board/scoreboard Wednesday, which will sit above fans in left-center field, replacing the old scoreboard.

The team said the brand new video board is 258 percent larger than the old board, features the equivalent of 784 60-inch televisions to make up a 8,369 square foot board that is in 1080p high definition.

The top of the board is also in the shape of the Rockies logo.

In addition to the giant new board, the team said there will also be "speaker enhancements" on the lower bowl for fans.

The Rockies look to get back in the postseason, when they open the season on the road for series in Arizona and San Diego before hosting the Braves on April 7.
