Broncos sign guard J.J. Dielman

The Denver Broncos on Saturday signed guard J.J. Dielman from Cincinnati’s practice squad, it was announced. 

Dielman (6-5, 309 pounds) is a rookie who has competed on the Bengals’ practice squad since Week 2 of the 2017 season. Selected by Cincinnati in the fifth round (176th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft from the University of Utah, Dielman spent Week 1 of the regular season on the Los Angeles Rams’ active roster.

At Utah, Dielman started 31-of-32 career games, playing right tackle for his first three seasons before moving to center as a senior in 2016. A graduate of Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Dielman was born on Dec. 16, 1993, in Ahwatukee, Ariz. His cousin, Kris Dielman, played offensive line for the San Diego Chargers from 2003-11.
