COLORADO SPRINGS -

Colorado Springs police have identified the body of a man found in Shooks Run Park near Fountain and Corona, on December 3rd.

The man is identified as 50-year old Eugene Wildeman, a resident of Colorado Springs. Police received a call about a man lying near the bank of Fountain Creek as it passes under the bridge in the 400 block of East Fountain Boulevard. 

The man's death is now the 30th homicide investigated by the Colorado Springs police this year. This time last year there were 21 deaths in the city.
