The 4th Annual Nutcracker in the Park was Saturday Dec 2. The event is a unique nature and dance event held at the Catamount Institute at Sondermann Park in Colorado Springs.
The Catamount Institute and Imagination Celebration come together to host the event annually.
Participants enjoyed a nature walk through Sondermann Park and dance performances from the well-known Nutcracker Ballet. The event is not only held to celebrate dance, but to educate on local wildlife and science while enjoying a holiday performance.
The event is for all ages, all were welcome to attend, hot cocoa and cookies were available at the end of the nature walk.
A suggested $25 donation per family to either the Catamount Institute or Imagine Celebration was encouraged in helping the nonprofit groups fulfill their missions in providing for families all year long.
