MANITOU SPRINGS -

The 2nd annual Manitou Springs Parade of Lights will take place Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.

The parade will start at Tubby's Turn Around on Manitou Avenue and will stretch to El Paso Blvd. starting at 6:00 p.m. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will be out to pick up unwrapped new toys for the Toys for Tots program.

The theme of the parade is Christmas Starts in Manitou. Businesses in downtown are being challenged to a friendly competition for best decorated for the holiday.  According to their website, a link will appear online for an interactive voting session during the parade.

News 5 is a proud sponsor of this event and will be taking part in the parade tonight.
