Colorado Springs police are working to track down suspects in a pair of robberies Thursday night at two restaurants.

The first incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. at the Texas Roadhouse on Powers Blvd. Two men with guns demanded the contents of the cash register from the hostess.

Both were described as slender white men. One was wearing a black jackets, blue jeans and a black bandana. The other was wearing a gray sweatshirt with a green shirt over it and white sunglasses.

They took off in a black sedan without any cash. No one was hurt.

About two hours later, a Papa John's pizza restaurant was targeted. The robbery was just before midnight at 621 North Union, near the intersection of Union and Monument.

Employees describe a gray or black small, newer sedan parked near the back door. The suspects are also described as having handguns and were said to be either white or Hispanic, wearing all black and covering their faces with masks.

They went immediately to the cash register and demanded money. Employees complied and the suspects then took off in their vehicle.

Police have not said if they think the robberies are related.
