COLORADO SPRINGS -

After a long, hairy month, the men of KOAA will finally shave again during News 5 at 6:00 on Thursday.

As a way to raise money and awareness, Ira Cronin, Zach Thaxton, Grant Meech and Sam Schreier put down their razors for the entire month of November to promote men's health.

Ira chose to raise money for UCHealth Memorial Hospital Circle of Hope Fund for Cancer patients, Zach chose the Southern Colorado AIDS Project, Grant is supporting the UCHealth Heart and Vascular Center at Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, and Sam chose to support Children's Hospital of Colorado.

KOAA News 5 will match the highest amount raised up to $500 for the top fundraiser, which is currently neck and neck between Sam and Ira.

To donate to your favorite KOAA personality or your favorite cause, there's still time! The winner of the competition will be decided at midnight Thursday night.
