Police asking for tips in construction site burglary

COLORADO SPRINGS -

Colorado Springs Police are asking for help to track down the suspects who burglarized a construction site.

The incident happened on October 27th. at a site near Powers and Barnes at 4637 Asher Heights. The suspects stole a 900 foot spool of wire. Police said they tried to load the wire into an SUV, believed to be a Honda Pilot.

When that failed, a second vehicle arrived and the wire was loaded into that. The second vehicle is believed to be a Chevy Cruze, possibly with an Uber sticker on the front windshield.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
