Local man needs public's help in buying wreaths for vet gravesites

Posted: Updated:

A Colorado Springs man is working to get wreaths placed on the grave sites of every vet in the city, but he needs the public's help.

David Bolser of Senior Veterans Inc, has partnered with "Wreaths Across America" to place wreaths on over 8,000 gravesites of Veterans in Colorado Springs. A $15 donation would go a long way, as it would help buy the wreaths for volunteers to place on each grave.

 Unfortunately, time is running out.

''The issue here is that we've got a deadline of December 1st, which is Friday, and that's the last day people can order the wreaths, so at that time, whatever wreaths we have are the wreaths we're gonna be able to place on the gravestones,'' said Bolser.

All four major cemeteries in the city are taking part, to donate please visit their website at pikespeakhonor.com.
