Latest Colorado Springs homicide victim's name released

The El Paso County Coroner's Office has identified a man found dead in a car outside of UCHealth Memorial Hospital Monday. According to Colorado Springs Police, 19-year old E'Majin Imarrhi Willis-Tejan of Colorado Springs was found in the valet parking area of the hospital.

Police say detectives learned the shooting happened in the 1100 block of East Fountain Blvd around 9 p.m. Sunday night, but officers did not learn about the incident until the man was found dead in the parking lot around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Colorado Springs detectives arrested a 16-year old boy in connection to the shooting, on charges of suspicion of first-degree murder. 

This is the 27th homicide investigated by the Colorado Springs Police Department this year. The city of Colorado Springs reported 18 homicides at this time last year.
