Rockrimmon crime spree has business owners worried

Posted: Updated:

Local businesses in the Springs Rockrimmon area are nervous about a recent crime spree.

Security camera footage was obtained from New Day Cafe at 5901 Delmonico Dr, where a suspect broke into the the restaurant on Thanksgiving morning. The incident happened around 4:00 a.m.

Although the suspect didn't take any cash or cause any additional damage, this unfortunately isn't the first break-in at the cafe. This has the owner very worried.

''I'm hoping somebody will be able to identify the car, or the shots we have of that one person without the full face mask. Somebody must know who they are,'' said owner Tom Brunette.

This was not the only business that was broken into, the Domino's Pizza at Rockrimmon and Del Monico was also robbed at the same time on the same day. The Domino's Pizza was robbed of an unknown amount of cash.

The Shell Station on Rockrimmon also faced the unfortunate event, as it was robbed Sunday.

Police aren't saying if any of these crimes are related. But if you have any information regarding any of these incidents please call CSPD.
