CASTLE ROCK -

Shoppers are flocking to the Outlets at Castle Rock hoping to score some Black Friday deals.

Within minutes of the shopping center opening, lines were already lacing around every corner outside of stores.

Many of these shoppers have had all day to enjoy their Thanksgiving dinner with their families and they've come to the Outlets to work off the turkey.

It is set to be a 25 hour shopping event with doors opening at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving and closing at 9 p.m. on Friday.

Shoppers News5 spoke with were in high spirits, ready to find the best deals and most say they didn't even have to miss out on the turkey.

"I did not miss out, I ate like five times before I came and I took a nap!" Henry Vo, a shopper from Colorado Springs said.

Waves of people came after their dinners from throughout the state looking to stock up on anything from purses, shoes, clothes and so much more.

"It's kinda silly, the line was all the way around the building like several stores down but I think it's worth it, it's definitely fun and it's nice to have something to do after eating a full meal, work off some calories," Samantha Strayer, a shopping from Aurora said.

The lines and crowds are expected to stick around throughout the night and well into Black Friday until their doors close at 9 p.m.
