Air Force prepping for final two week "playoff like stretch"

Posted: Updated:

If you dig deep into the Boise State locker room, they have Air Force circled in bright red on the schedule.

The Falcons (4-6) have topped the Broncos three years in a row and they'd love to make it four in a row on Saturday in Boise.

Air Force has pinned itself against the wall with two weeks left in the season, needing to win the final two games to qualify for a bowl game.

AFA played one of the best defensive efforts against the Broncos last season with a 27-20 win at Falcon Stadium. While the game can't be duplicated they will never forget the intensity.

You can see from the film from last year and the year before, mistakes were made on both sides," said Tim McVey. "When they make a mistake we have to capitalize on our opportunity and capitalize on theirs.

"The hype really takes care of itself and the intensity is gonna be there," said Jacob Stafford. "Our teams will bring it, their team is gonna bring it as well so it's going to be a good match up."
