First Alert 5 Forecast: Warm And Sunny Afternoon!

Posted: Updated:

Warmer air from the weekend under westerly upper level flow sticks around for Monday's forecast! We'll have some morning cloud cover and as long as we burn through that to sunny skies in the afternoon, we should have no problem warming to the mid 60s in Colorado Springs and low 70s in Pueblo! The winds will be light and variable today meaning you won't have much of a breeze messing up your hair, or beard gentlemen. Tonight, under returning partly cloudy skies, temperatures will fall back into the mid 30s by Tuesday morning.

Tuesday is also looking very nice with more warm skies under a bit of a breezy down slope wind. Highs will warm to the upper 60s in Colorado Springs and low to mid 70s for Pueblo. A strong cold front is set to move through overnight Tuesday into Wednesday affecting more of the temperatures Wednesday afternoon instead of Tuesday night. Thursday is another brief warm up, thanks to more down slope winds with a return of cold air Friday that should last through the weekend. We look to be dry of any rain or snow through the weekend but the mountains and ski resorts may see some activity Thursday and Friday!
