Warming Up for the Work Week

Posted: Updated:

A Cooler Sunday as winds from the North ushered in cooler air.  As a result, our highs capped off in the lower to mid 50s around the area.  Tonight though, those winds shift around to the south and pump in some warmer air.  Patchy fog is still a possibility on the Eastern Plains and lower Arkansas River Valley as lows drop to the mid 30s.

On Monday, after a few morning clouds, temperatures will climb into the upper 60s to near 70s - a good 20 degree jump!  Tuesday looks just as nice, if not a little warmer and windier, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 70s.

By Tuesday night, a disturbance will move through the state and drop our afternoon temps on Wednesday back to the lower 50s.  It's going to be a roller coaster week with our highs, but overall, still no storms with any snow or rain associated with them.  There is a chance for the northern and central mountains to get some snow by Thursday night, but Southern Colorado will remain dry for the foreseeable future.
