Pueblo Police investigating homicide on 6th Street

PUEBLO -

The Pueblo Police are investigating reports of a man who was shot and killed in a Pueblo home, early Sunday morning. Pueblo Police received reports around 1:40 a.m. of a man who had been shot and killed in the 1400 block of E 6th St.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on 15-year-old suspect Johnny Dennel to contact Pueblo PD.

Police say, the reporting party who lived in the home said, his adult son were at the home with the victim and at least one other party. The reporting party's son knew the victim, but their relationship is unclear at this time.

At some point the man was shot in the home, the reporting party and his son left the house to call police from a public phone.

The victim of the homicide was a 22-year old male, his name will be released once family is notified.

    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning pet owners about a possible link between certain dog foods and canine heart disease. The FDA put out a statement on July 12, following reports of canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs eating specific dog foods that contain peas, lentils, other legume seeds, or potatoes as the major ingredient.
