COLORADO SPRINGS -

The Colorado Springs Police received information about a man attempting to enter parked vehicles early Friday afternoon. Police said, information was received that a man was pulling on door handles of several parked cars in an attempt to get in.

This was in the area of Palmer Park Blvd and Academy Blvd. The reporting party continued to watch the suspect move from the original location where the incident was reported to the area surrounding the Citadel Mall.

The police report says at one point, a vehicle owner confronted the man after seeing the suspect enter his car and take a cell phone. But the suspect walked away.
