Nearly two dozen shots fired in apartment complex parking lot

COLORADO SPRINGS -

Colorado Springs Police say nearly two dozen shots were fired in the Summit Creek Apartments parking lot near Chelton Road and South Academy Boulevard Thursday evening.

Police responded to the scene just before 7:00 p.m. and discovered that six cars were hit by bullets. Two people inside one of those cars were cut by broken glass, but no one was shot. Investigators collected almost two dozen shell casings for evidence.
