Denver Broncos visit Peterson AFB, NORAD during Salute to Service trip

Posted: Updated:
COLORADO SPRINGS -

During his trip to the Springs, Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib learned what the "real Colorado Springs" is all about.

"A lot of stuff going on down there you don't know is down there," Talib said. "It's like a whole other world down there, underground."

Talib, along with Justin Simmons, AJ Derby and Zaire Anderson got a personalized tour of Cheyenne Mountain's NORAD Command Center followed by lunch at Peterson Air Force Base.

It is part of the Broncos and NFL's Salute to Service campaign for the month of November. The trip was an opportunity he and the rest of the Broncos didn't want to miss.

"We know our daily lives, so just to see what they do on the daily - it's interesting," Talib said. "You can't pass it up."
