PUEBLO -

With Tuesdays snowfall in Pueblo people at car maintenance shops say its time to get your car ready for winter.

Workers at Pueblo West Auto Tire and Diesel say Tuesdays cold snap has made people realize that yes-winter is coming.

Its why several customers are starting to come to the shop to make sure their cars are ready for winter.

People are getting their wiper blades and coolant level checked, some are even getting winter tires put on their car.

Service Writer Joseph Lauricella said, "This is the time to get them on. They are compound, good for the colder weather. They have more flexibility, better traction in the snow."

Taking these maintenance steps could help prevent you and your car from sliding off the road this winter.
