If you're already in the holiday spirit, Castle Rock is celebrating the kick off to the holiday season with a Tree Lighting Concert Saturday. Over 8,000 bulbs will illuminate the Castle Rock Christmas Tree at the Outlets, during the 12th Annual Tree Lighting Concert.
The event will be headlined by 2016 CMA Global Artist of the Year Morgan Evans. Thousands are expected in attendance, the event is family friendly.
The concert will close with a countdown led by the man himself Santa Claus, to the lighting of the 55-foot White Fir Tree. The tree is from the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
To give a little more perspective the tree stands 10-feet taller than the 'big blue bear' at the Denver Convention Center.
In addition to country music artist Morgan Evans, the night will feature performances by up and coming country artist duo 'Waterloo Revival'. The concert is free, and will be from 4-7 p.m.
The Outlets at Castle Rock are located at 5050 Factory Shops Blvd, Suite 437.
