Posted: Updated:

The Colorado Springs Police are investigating a robbery at the Baymont Inn & Suites, where guests from the hotel were held at gunpoint Friday.

The incident happened early Friday morning at 1055 Kelly Johnson Blvd, where police say guests staying at the hotel were robbed at gunpoint in their room. CSPD said an adult female victim and another friend arranged to meet someone through an internet site.

Police say this site is commonly used for criminal activity. One of the suspects let the other three suspects into the hotel through a back door, but once they were in the room they struck the victims with a handgun and robbed them at gunpoint.

Reports say the female victim knew one of the suspects as she had previously sold them narcotics. The suspects fled the scene with personal items and the victims car.

Patrol officers were able to identify the suspects as, 34-year old Kelia Madison, 35-year old Seth Sperbeck, 39-year old Matthew Kurvink and 39-year old Miriam Kurvink.

Detectives from the Robbery Unit responded to assist in the investigation, where a search warrant was executed for the suspects home in the 1600 block of Edith Lane. Detectives recovered three handguns, a shotgun and methamphetamines.

All of the suspects were taken in to custody.
