Thornton Walmart shooting victims identified

THORNTON -

The names of the three people who were killed at the shooting in a Thornton Walmart have been released.

The Adams and Broomfield Counties Coroner announced Pamela Marques, 52, Carlos Moreno, 66 and Victor Vasquez, 26 died in Wednesday's shooting.

As we have reported, at this time there is no indication that the victims knew each other. Our partners in Denver, 9 News, are reporting that Marques is from Denver, while Moreno and Vasquez are from unincorporated Adams County.

Thornton Police arrested the suspected shooter, 47-year-old Scott Ostrem Thursday morning. He's accused of walking into the Walmart on Grant Street and  "nonchalantly" and opening fire with a handgun on a group of people near the cash registers, this is according to a spokesperson for the Thornton Police Department.

There is no known motive for the shooting at this time.
