New Life Church is hosting a full day summit to address mental health issues in the Colorado Springs Community.

The Mental Health Summit will be hosted at the north location of New Life Church, 11025 Voyager Parkway on Saturday, November 4th, starting at 8:40 a.m. The cost of registration is $39.99 for adults and $19.99 for students. You can register online by clicking here.

This day long event will feature as the keynote speaker Kay Warren, who along with her husband Rick lost their adult son to suicide in 2013. Rick Warren is a Pastor and author of the book, The Purpose-Driven Life. Breakout sessions will include Dr. Mark Mayfield, Dr. Eric Sandras, and Kristine Tammilow.

Organizers said the purpose of the summit is to create a place where those who may be struggling with mental illness as well as educators, parents, business leaders, and concerned friends can come together and learn how to move forward. The summit will wrap up by 5:30 p.m.
