Police identify victim of a fatal shooting outside Family Dollar store

COLORADO SPRINGS -

Colorado Springs Police said one of two victims of a shooting outside of a Family Dollar location last Thursday died in a hospital Monday.

The El Paso County Coroner's office identified the victim who died as Alex Eugene Ainsworth, 18, from Colorado Springs.

The shooting happened last Thursday afternoon in the  2300 block of East Boulder St.

Police have not announced any arrests in connection to the shooting, but they said they were looking for a silver sedan seen near a Family Dollar store downtown.
