Here are a few of the events going on this weekend. 

14th Annual Chipita Park Arts and Crafts Fair

Chipita Park will host its annual arts and crafts fair this weekend. From 9 am - 4 pm on Saturday and 9 am - 3 pm on Sunday Marcroft Hall in Chipita Park will be filled with rungs, hand-crafted silver, stained glass, pottery, woodcrafts, knitwear, baked goods, and much more to help you get a jump on holiday shopping. Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival

The longest running women’s film festival in North America will be going on this weekend in Colorado Springs. Films will be shown beginning at 9am on both Saturday and Sunday at multiple locations in the Springs. Films will include documentaries, narrative shorts, and animated films. Casino Night 

Alpine Autism Center will host a fundraising Casino Night on Saturday. From 6 pm - 10 pm the center will turn into a casino with casino games, raffles, a silent auction, tapas, wine, and micro brew tastings. Admission will be $25 and that will include your first round of game chips. Find more information here.

All Colorado Beer Festival

Up to 70 brewers from all over Colorado will bring over 200 different beers to the Norris Penrose Event Center for the 11th Annual All Colorado Beer Festival. There will be two sessions starting at 1 pm and 6:30 pm at the new location. VIP access is available 1 hour ahead of each session for an additional $10. General admission will be $40 ahead of time and $45 at the door with some discounts and special tickets available. All proceeds are donated to local nonprofits. They've donated nearly half a million dollars over the past 10 years. Buy tickets and find more information here.

    If you are unsure where to shop for Black Friday this year, the Castle Rock Outlets will be open on Thanksgiving Day hosting an 'All-Night Shopping Party.' The stores will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night and remain open until 9 p.m. on Friday, giving shoppers a full 25 hours to shop.

    The El Paso County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit is looking for victims who were assaulted by a local minister.   An investigation began in May 2017, the suspect was licensed minister 22-year old Romello Leach. Leach was arrested on Nov 22, he was booked into the Criminal Justice Center Jail on multiple felony counts of Sexual Assault on a Child.
