Pueblo Police to host career open house

Anyone interested in becoming part of Pueblo law enforcement has the opportunity to take a closer look at a career with the Pueblo Police Department. Police are holding an open house to recruit new officers and dispatchers Thursday.

The event is being held in the police department's community room at 200 South Main street from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

During the recruiting event, you'll have the opportunity to see several vehicle displays and get a glimpse at all of the obstacles included in the physical ability test that officer candidates must pass. You can also apply for potential jobs in the police department.
