Teller and Park county deputies investigating an apparent suicide in a stolen vehicle Saturday night.

Teller County deputies are not releasing the name of a man who stole a car and lead them on a chase before taking his own life on Saturday night.
The incident started at around 5:30 p.m. Deputies in Park County notified Teller County that a man had stolen a vehicle and had fired shots at a witness.
The vehicle was spotted a short time later on Highway 67 heading south toward Woodland Park. A deputy tried to pull the vehicle over, and that started a brief chase. The suspect turned onto a dead end road and stopped.
A single gunshot was heard and the deputy found the suspect deceased in the vehicle. The case is still under investigation by Park and Teller counties.
The name of the suspect is being withheld until the family can be notified.
