The number next to every team's name is the RPI ranking that will determine playoff seeding by the CHSAA committee. This is the end of the regular season for 2/1A and 8-man. 5/4/3A all conclude in week 10. Brackets come out that Sunday.

GAME OF THE WEEK:

3A #4 HARRISON vs. #22 PUEBLO EAST: The Panthers continue to ride high this season, 8-0 entering the match up, their best start in school history but Friday night might spell upset for Harrison. The 3-time defending 3A champs Eagles come into the game winners of three in a row and if they bear the Panthers, they will lock up a post season ticket. They lost all of their non-league games but are on the door step of a league title. Wild. Harrison has all the offensive horses to win this one with the Eagles. If East wins on Friday night, they'll win the league and secure their spot in November.

FINAL: Pueblo East 46, Harrison 14

4A #2 PINE CREEK vs. #17 WIDEFIELD: The Eagles playoff ticket is secure but Widefield is #17 in the 4A RPI standings in a field where only 16 get in. Boy the Gladiators need a win, huh? And a little help, too.... gonna be hard to come by this late in the season. TJ Davis is still one of the most electric players in the region and it will be a treat to see what he can do against the Pine Creek defense, one that's surrendered only 28 points in the last three games.

FINAL: Pine Creek 46, Widefield 0

4A #15 MESA RIDGE vs. #22 AIR ACADEMY: Winless in their league right now, it's going to be very hard for the Kadets to make it into the postseason BUT Mesa Ridge is right on the bubble and can't afford to lose a game this late in the season. 2-1 in the Southern League, Mesa Ridge is looking up at Widefield in the overall standings but lead then in the RPI. The Grizzlies need to take care of business Friday night and they'll keep their destiny in their own hands. Lose, and they may not like the results....

FINAL: Air Academy 26, Mesa Ridge

3A #22 KENNEDY vs. #2 PALMER RIDGE: How about a bonus game? The Bears are assured a playoff spot in 3A - it's just a matter of securing the top overall seed. Mead currently sits on top of the 3A RPI standings. The Longhorns have their hands full with Erie on Friday night. If Palmer beats Kennedy it sets them up with a match up vs. Vista Peak to end the regular season and if both teams win in week nine, the Eaat Metro title is up for grabs.

FINAL: Palmer Ridge 52, Kennedy 0

2A #5 TCA vs. #22 MANITOU SPRINGS: The Titans are assured a playoff spot. But entering with one loss on their record will help with seeding and the chance at hosting a playoff game in the first round. If the Mustangs can pull the upset, they will tie TCA's Tri-Peaks league record but trail them in the overall. Manitou will need a lot of help to make the field of 16.

FINAL: TCA 56, Manitou Springs 12

1A #12 PEYTON vs. #16 COLORADO SPRINGS CHRISTIAN: A head to head match up coming you way Friday night. If the Lions can take down the Panthers they will enter into a tie with Peyton for the Tri-Peaks League? with both teams finishing with two losses. If the playoffs began today - both are in but as CSCS is sitting on the last spot for the bracket, their margin for error is very minimal to none right now. If they do lose, they'll need help to remain in the top 16.

FINAL: Peyton 27, Colorado Springs Christian 3

Discovery Canyon downed Mitchell Thursday night 51-13. Watch highlights here:

Final: Kennedy 0, Palmer Ridge 52

Final: Lakewood 13, Fountain-Fort Carson 3

Final: Rampart 53, Coronado 6

Final: Woodland Park 7, Cañon City 48
