No one was hurt when a child took the keys to his sister's car and drove to a Colorado Springs gas station early Friday morning in search of a snack.

Police said the 12-year-old special needs boy stole his sister's keys and hit the curb near North Carefree and Tutt Blvd. just before 5:00 a.m.

The boy caused damage to the car, and bumped his elbow, but suffered no serious injuries in the crash. The gas station clerk called in the hit and run, saying the driver was a child.
