Care and Share Food Bank offers free recycling program

Posted: Updated:

Care and Share Food Bank is encouraging everyone to cut down on waste by participating in their GOALZERO recycling program. The program offers a free recycling drop-off to the public!

The best part about this program is it also helps the hungry right here in southern Colorado! After you make your drop off they will sell the recycled materials to help fund meals for our neighbors in need.

The recycling is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is completely free to both individuals and businesses.

You can drop off anything from the more common recyclables like paper, cardboard and plastics to the more unique items that many services don't take!
This includes plastic grocery bags, shrink wrap, even bubble wrap! It keeps these items out of landfills and provides revenue to purchase meals for people in need.

The drop off is located on 2265 Waynoka Rd. Colorado Springs. That's on the east side of Colorado Springs near Powers and Constitution. For more info visit goalzerorecycling.com.
