The Doss Aviation has announced the company will expand its workforce in Pueblo.

Doss Aviation owns and operates a full-service, turnkey training facility in Pueblo providing coursework and flight training for the Air Force, Marine Corps and international aviation candidates.

Doss made the announcement on Tuesday, these are the details of the project:

  • $7.3 million in capital investment
  • 192 full-time equivalent jobs to be in place by April 1, 2020
  • Full-time jobs at the flight training facility will pay an average of $55,000 annually
  • $2.9 million from the City of Pueblo’s half-cent fund for economic development (contingent on approval from Pueblo City Council)

The General Manager of Doss Aviation Mark Lester says candidates can apply for Pueblo Initial Flight Training jobs at http://www.Dossaviation.com.

He also says Certified Flight Instructor positions are the current biggest need.
