PUEBLO - According to Pueblo Police 26-year old Ramona Benevidez turned herself in Saturday morning for the murder of 26-year old Danielle Calvert. 

The Pueblo Police responded to a reported dead body found in the 1300 block of Van Buren St. Tuesday afternoon. Police considered the initial investigation as a suspicious death and was later upgraded to a homicide. 

According to Police they canvassed the area talking to neighbors trying to gather any information on the incident. 

Many of Calvert's friends expressed their sadness via social media mourning the loss of their friend. 

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office revealed Benevidez was the suspect in a homicide investigation Friday, requesting assistance in locating her.

They later updated that she was connected to Calvert's murder.

Pueblo County Coroner confirmed Ms. Calvert's death was due to a single gunshot wound.

Captain Eric Bravo of Pueblo Police confirmed Benevidez turned herself in Saturday morning and is now being held without bond on First Degree Murder Charges.

    A Colorado Springs man reported as missing on Tuesday is found safe early Wednesday morning. 6--year old Dean Wilfong was riding his bike in Palmer Park around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning when he called 911.

    First responders were unable to locate the man. Police say they received a phone call from Wilfong's wife just before 1:00 a.m. and she told them that her husband contacted her and she picked him up.

    It's unclear where Wilfong had been.
