Driver charged with DUI after crashing into apartment building

COLORADO SPRINGS - The Colorado Springs Police Falcon Division was dispatched to a traffic accident on the 1600 block of Chapel Hills Drive Saturday.

Police say after conducting an investigation a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and went off the roadway into the Advenir at Briargate apartment complex. 

The investigation revealed the vehicle struck an unoccupied parked car, then struck the apartment building shortly after. The vehicle finally came to a rest inside an occupied apartment.

The driver is identified as 35-year old Joshua Ender, he was cited for several traffic violations including DUI and DUID.

According to CSPD there were no injuries to the occupants of the apartment, but the family was displaced as a result of the damages done to the apartment.
