Teller County Sheriff's Office seeks public help in missing woman

COLORADO SPRINGS - The Teller County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a missing woman. The woman is identified as 39-year old Micah Lambert, who was reported missing to Colorado Springs Police on Sept. 24.

Police said Lambert was last seen in Colorado Springs at a friend's house on the morning of Sept. 23. Lambert's friends found her vehicle abandoned in a parking lot at the Catamount Recreational area near Divide last Friday.

The Teller County Search and Rescue team said it has been on scene conducting foot searches using methods including sonar boats and scent dogs.

This investigation is still classified as missing person's case, investigators say they are following up on several tips. It has been reported that Lambert was suffering from depression.

No trace of Ms. Lambert has been found yet.

The Teller County Sheriff's Office is requesting that if anyone has seen Ms. Lambert or her vehicle to please call (719)-687-9652.

    The death of a 3-year old girl in Colorado Springs is being investigated as a homicide, Tuesday. Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Ensenada Drive on October 2, 2017 to investigate 3-year old Bella Ritch who had lost consciousness. After being transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
