Southern Colorado lawmakers react to Las Vegas shooting

COLORADO SPRINGS -

Southern Colorado lawmakers are reacting to last nights tragic shooting in Las Vegas that so far has claimed 50 lives, and wounded 400 more attending a country music festival Sunday evening. 

Senator Cory Gardner tweeted out this morning, "Horrific images coming out of Las Vegas this morning. My family and I are praying for the families of those injured & killed."

Rep. Doug Lamborn took to twitter as well saying, "Deeply saddened to hear the horrific news from Las Vegas. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this tragedy and their families."

Rep. Scott Tipton shared, "Absolutely heartbreaking news coming out of Las Vegas overnight. Praying for the victims, their families, and first responders."

Congressman Mike Coffman also shared on twitter saying, “My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims and their families of this horrific massacre in Las Vegas and my thanks for the first responders who took down the shooter and evacuated the wounded.”

    Classmates of 3-year-old Bella Ritch were informed she died on Oct. 2.Classmates of 3-year-old Bella Ritch were informed she died on Oct. 2.

    The death of a 3-year old girl in Colorado Springs is being investigated as a homicide, Tuesday. Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Ensenada Drive on October 2, 2017 to investigate 3-year old Bella Ritch who had lost consciousness. After being transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
