CSPD search for suspect involved in robbery with a knife

COLORADO SPRINGS - The Colorado Springs Police were notified of a robbery in progress involving a suspect with a knife Sunday morning. Police say a male suspect entered a business armed with a knife at the 1500 block of S. Academy Blvd. 

According to the police report there was a struggle between the suspect and victim, the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. The suspect then left the business, a K9 track was attempted in locating the suspect but was unsuccessful. 

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic or light skinned black male, approximately 20 years of age, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray shorts, and tan colored combat boots.
