Posted: Updated:

Pueblo Community College announced Thursday enrollment is up more than 5% this year with 257 more students for the fall semester.

According to administration, the programs with the largest increase in enrollment include emergency medical services, dental hygiene, business and early childhood education.

"We're actively engaged with our community advisory boards," said PCC President Patty Erjavec. "We listen to what our local businesses need and then we help our students gain those advanced skills as quickly and affordably as they can."

Pueblo Community College is comprised of four campuses in Pueblo, Canon City, Durango and Mancos.
